The 90-Day GuaranteeFull Terms
Everything that must happen for the guarantee to apply, written plainly, so you can see exactly why I am able to offer it.
This is not a refund policy. It is a promise that the method works when it is followed — and the conditions below describe what following it actually means. They are deliberately strict. Every requirement on this page is something that makes you better at the piano. None of it is admin for the sake of admin.
How the guarantee starts
Two things must happen for the guarantee to begin. If either is missed, the guarantee never starts. That is not the same as breaking a rule and being disqualified — it means the entry conditions were never met.
- Within 5 days of purchase, you log in to the course, begin watching the videos, and set up the Precision Practice app. From the sixth day onward the guarantee is no longer available to you.
- Within 48 hours of your first login, you complete the Module 13 songbook form.
Your 90 days begin on the date of your first login to the Precision Practice app — and you must complete your first practice session on that same day. Day one is the day you arrive. The clock does not wait for approval of your piece, and it does not wait for you.
Watch the first video
Before anything else, watch the opening video. It walks you through how the app works, how to log a session, and how this guarantee operates. Once you have watched it, there is no scenario in which the process is unclear.
Your target piece
On the Module 13 songbook form you name the piece you want to be able to play, and you upload three short videos showing where you are starting from:
- Your current attempt at the piece
- Your current ability to read music
- Your current attempt at playing hands together
These are your before videos. They are timestamped on submission and held on file.
Your piece must be at ABRSM Grade 3 level or below. This programme takes a complete beginner to roughly that standard, so anything beyond it falls outside what the guarantee covers. Links to sample pieces at the required level are provided on the form.
Richard personally reviews every submission and responds with approval, or a request to choose again, within 48 hours.
Once your piece is approved it is fixed. It cannot be changed at any point during the 90 days, for any reason. The approved piece is the one your claim will be judged on.
Daily practice
For 90 consecutive days, with no exceptions:
- A minimum of 10 minutes of unbroken practice, timed inside the Precision Practice app. The timer stops if you leave the app — this applies on both mobile and desktop.
- Before you begin, you enter what you intend to practise and your goal for that session. A link on that screen shows you exactly how.
- A day runs midnight to midnight in the timezone registered on your account.
- No backfilling. An entry added after a day has ended does not count, and doing so voids the guarantee.
- No banking time. Twenty minutes today does not cover a missed tomorrow. It is ninety days in a row.
Missing a single day ends the guarantee. Poor internet connection or bandwidth is not an exception.
If the Precision Practice app suffers an outage, loses data, or fails to sync, email Richard directly with the date and time it occurred. Leaving the app because of a weak signal is not covered by this.
Your daily review video
At the end of every session, record roughly 30 seconds describing what you worked on. You do not need to appear in it. It does not need to be well shot. Something as simple as:
Today I worked on reading the right hand, then the left, then tried hands together.
Keep these on your own device — you do not send them in. They serve two purposes. Articulating what you have just practised is part of how the learning consolidates. And because they are naturally timestamped, they are your corroborating record if a claim is ever disputed: proof not only that you practised, but what you practised.
Live lessons
Three live group lessons fall inside your 90 days. All three must be attended live.
- Each lesson runs a minimum of one hour. You must be present for at least one hour. Attendance is recorded automatically.
- If you genuinely cannot attend, you must email Richard in writing, before the lesson takes place, explaining why. A valid explanation may be accepted at his discretion, and you will be expected to watch the recording.
- Recordings are not a substitute for attending. Most of what makes this work happens live, in the room, in the questions people ask.
- Failing to attend and failing to notify in advance voids the guarantee outright.
These are group lessons covering the course material. They are not one-to-one sessions, and no one-to-one coaching is included in this programme.
If Richard cancels, reschedules, or does not run a lesson inside your window, your window is extended accordingly. You do not need to request this — it is applied automatically.
What qualifies a claim
The guarantee is judged on your approved target piece. If, having completed everything above, you still cannot play it, you may claim.
Your claim is assessed as a before-and-after comparison across three areas, using the videos already on file from Section Two:
- Your reading ability at the start, against your reading ability now
- Your hands-together attempt at the start, against your attempt now
- Your attempt at the target piece at the start, against your attempt now
The target piece is the deciding test. The other two comparisons are the supporting evidence that shows what did or did not change over the ninety days.
Making a claim
Claims open on day 91 and close at the end of day 105. Claims submitted outside that window cannot be accepted.
You submit:
- Three after videos — the target piece, your reading, and hands together
- Your complete practice record from the Precision Practice app
Assessment
Richard personally assesses every claim. Where a submitted video is unclear, or where he disagrees with the claim being made, he will arrange a live assessment before reaching a decision. Assessment is at his sole discretion and the decision is final.
What a successful claim receives
- A full refund of your £37. No forms, no questions, no conversation about it.
- Lifetime access to all 20 modules of the Piano Mastery System. Refunded or not, the course stays yours.
- Your place in the live group lessons, retained — for as long as you continue logging your ten minutes daily and recording your review videos. We keep going until you can play your piece. If the logging stops, the continuation stops.
- £100, paid personally by Richard.
Payment is made within 30 days of approval. Bank details are collected separately, by secure form, once a claim has been approved — you have 7 days from the date of approval to supply them, after which the payment lapses.
Payment is made in pounds sterling regardless of your country. Any conversion, receiving or intermediary bank charges are at your cost, and Richard accepts no responsibility for funds once they have been transferred.
One claim per person, for life.
What voids the guarantee
- Adding or altering practice entries after the day has ended
- Falsifying any part of the practice record or the review videos
- Missing a live lesson without notifying in advance
- Initiating a chargeback
- Sharing your account with anyone else
- Copying, duplicating, redistributing or reselling any course material
- Abusive or threatening conduct toward Richard, his coaching team, or other students — whether verbal, written or implied. Conduct of this nature voids the guarantee immediately and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Your statutory rights
This guarantee is offered in addition to your legal rights as a consumer. It does not replace, reduce or limit them in any way.
Every condition on this page exists for one reason: the method only works if you actually do it.
